It will be SO nice to be a two-car family again. I especially look forward to not being "stuck" at home all day now. Although, I have to admit, a year and a half with no car has taught me some invaluable lessons, like how half the errands I "needed" to run really weren't that important after all, how planning ahead can really reduce a lot of stress, and the beauty of just spending a simple, slow day at home with the kids. I hope I don't forget this stuff now!

I'm excited that you guys successfully managed your finances to the point of getting to be a 2 car family again. We are still trying to decide if we want to sell 1 car to get finances in order to be able to be a 2 car family.
You're an inspiration to me! We cut down to one car a year ago to save money. It wasn't a problem until we moved farther away from Chris's work and I can't just drive him to work as easily. Now I definitely understand what you're talking about with feeling stuck at home. I like that you've found something positive about it. :)
Congratulations! By the way, I love how close the 2 cars are parked. That's some masterful parking!
You've learned some great lessons! We are still a one car family...(The Geo Tracker doesn't count because it's been dead for a LONG time!) But I'm the one that gets the car most of the time so I need to review those lessons you've learned and put them in practive better. The bus has been a great thing for Dad this year...he actually gets a lot of work done on the way to work!
